Gameplay:
Clash of Clans is a MMO that requires you to build a base and constantly be upgrading it in order to effectively defend and attack other players. You loot bases and you use that loot to upgrade more of your base and army and so on. Of course it goes a lot deeper than that but I won't go to much into that.
Clash Royale is a RTS that requires no base gimmick, instead you are required to use a "deck" full of cards that you may upgrade to beef them up. In this game you play as many matches as you want in RTS against other people. In the simplest terms, you place cards in an attempt destroy each other towers. Again the game also has it's level of deepness but I won't go too much into that either.
The Rest
Aside from the gamplay, both games arent really that different. This is their main difference in the gamplay department. Both games contain similar themes and gimmicks such as clans.
